# Hifdh Helper > Hifdh Helper (https://hifdh-helper.ummahapps.ai/) is a free web app for memorising the Quran (hifz or hifdh). You enter what you already know and your goal, and it works out what to do on each study day: new hifz, new revision and older revision, with the exact surahs and page numbers in the 604-page Madinah mushaf. No account is needed; data stays in the browser on the user's device. Made by UmmahApps (https://ummahapps.ai/). ## What it does - New hifz: spreads the remaining pages over the chosen study days, to reach either a finish date or a set amount each week, counted in pages or lines (15 lines to a page). - New revision: spaced repetition. By default each day of new hifz is revised every study day for 21 days, then comes back 3, 7, 14 and 30 days after that, before joining the older cycle. Missed reviews carry over. Alternatively, revise the last few days of new hifz every day. - Revision: everything older is revised in a full cycle, every 30 days by default. - Hard pages: a page marked hard comes back the next day, 3 days later and 7 days later, on top of normal revision. - Daily reading tick with a streak, for reading pages not yet memorised. - Plan view: juz-by-juz progress, current pace, projected finish date, and how daily revision grows as more is memorised. - Several people on one device, for a family or a class, each with their own goal, schedule and colour. - Memorise forward (towards An-Nas) or backwards (towards Al-Fatihah, for example starting with Juz Amma), skipping pages already known. ## Good to know - Free to use, works in any modern browser on phone, tablet or computer, and can be added to the home screen. - Uses the Madinah mushaf: 604 pages, 30 juz of about 20 pages each. ## Pages - [Hifdh Helper app](https://hifdh-helper.ummahapps.ai/): the app, with an about section and FAQ.
